Founding Account Executive

Our client has a clear mission – To help organizations close the climate action gap to enable rapid decarbonization.

As one of the only climate technology SaaS platforms in the MENA region, our client is dedicated to helping both government and private businesses reduce their carbon footprint to create a more sustainable future. In order to continue on their mission, they are now looking to further expand their team.

Founding Account Executive Position Overview:

The Founding Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth from new accounts for our client’s sustainability SaaS platform. You will be supporting the Founder’s move away from an FLG motion by operating as a true Individual Contributor. You will be responsible for initial customer prospecting right the way through to full pipeline management and deal completion.

Founding Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify & prospect new C-level customers across the entire MENA region
  • Big focus on lead generation, booking meetings, conducting presentations, and even being visible at events across the Middle East
  • Work with the founders to execute a repeatable GTM strategy that can be replicated as the company scales
  • Identify and drive the development and closing of sales partnerships with key market players
  • Be a vital contributor to our client’s culture for the long term future whilst being a strong ambassador for them outside of the business

Required Experience:

  • To have had prior experience in either A) greenfielding for a new business/territory or B) working to a very strong outbound sales motion
  • Have a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets ($1m quota if experienced) or if more junior, a track record of achieving outbound sales KPIs
  • Have worked on enterprise-level deals ($150k-$500k ACV)
  • Experience in reaching senior-level stakeholders within government or the private sector – BFSI/Manufacturing would be a major advantage
  • English Speaking (Fluent) & Native Arabic Speaking (Strongly preferred)
