Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join their team to land and grow the client’s presence in Texas. As a senior AE, you will be responsible for closing and developing net-new business from targeted accounts within their ICP. A semi–full cycle sales position, developing deals from prospecting to close won. You will be selling into small & large commercial spaces.

Our client’s SaaS platform serves the Energy & Utilities sectors. Their sophisticated SaaS platform combines machine learning, data analytics, and an API that helps businesses optimize their energy, save money, and transition to a greener economy.

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a Senior Account Executive, with a track record of success closing higher velocity deals.
  • Strong understanding of the Energy industry, or Franchise, Restaurant, or Hospitality industries.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously, and build a region from 0 with the help of the SDR/BDR team.
  • Outstanding amounts of drive, sense of ownership, and work ethic, operating with high autonomy and scrappiness in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at various organizational levels.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving market needs, product enhancements, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to balance a lot of ‘spinning plates’ within the customers of your portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Net-New Revenue for the business, hunt, and forecast opportunities in target accounts.
  • Become a trusted advisor to buyers, fundamentally changing how they solve their problems
  • Deliver exceptional, value-driven buyer experience that builds trust.
  • Maintain weekly forecasts and achieve quota quarterly.
