Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a motivated Business Development Manager to join the team at a leading global carbon credit transaction network. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in supporting sales efforts and cultivating strong client relationships.

Their mission is to drive climate action by providing a straightforward, secure, and transparent network for certified carbon credit exchange. This position offers an exciting chance to contribute to our company’s growth and have a meaningful impact in the fight against climate change.

 Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

  1. Assist the sales team in identifying and reaching out to potential clients and partners.
  2. Aid in the development of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
  3. Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to uncover new business opportunities.
  4. Manage and update the CRM system to monitor client interactions and sales activities.
  5. Serve as the primary contact for clients, nurturing and managing strong relationships.
  6. Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client implementation.
  7. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and client engagements.

 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to foster and sustain relationships with clients and partners.
  6. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  7. Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
  8. Passion for sustainability and climate action.
