Job Description
Seeking an Account Executive to join our client’s team in Berlin or Munich and get the unique opportunity to work with the biggest organizations in the world to help them reduce carbon emissions.
As an Account Executive you will:
- End-to-end ownership of the entire sales cycle from lead generation and pre-qualification to negotiation and final closing
- Research potential new leads, make use of your network to open accounts, and stay on top of developments in the carbon management industry to expand their market base
- Lead and hold presentations and demonstrations for potential clients. Use your experience to navigate the complexity of the Enterprise SaaS sales process efficiently and smoothly
- Build your strategy to contact and acquire prospective clients through a variety of mediums, from LinkedIn and other network platforms to phoning, emailing, or meeting in person
- Work closely with other teams and colleagues in the Revenue department to help align offerings with the needs of clients
- Build a trust-based and long-term relationship with their clients. Network, communicate with, and keep their existing customers informed
- Keep transparency on your sales pipeline staying on top of administrative tasks and updating their CRM system (HubSpot)
- Establish a cross-functional and collaborative relationship with other departments, such as Marketing, Product and Customer Success

Your qualifications:
- Extensive working experience in enterprise SaaS sales within the B2B tech environment managing the entire sales cycle
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German. Speaking fluent German is a must-have requirement for this role.
- End-to-end experience in the sales process paired with excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen
- Experience in enterprise sales in at least one of those industries makes you a top-class candidate: manufactory, automotive, aerospace, construction, machinery, chemicals, or logistics
- A clear understanding of the carbon emissions business and a strong desire to play your part in guiding the industry towards achieving a net-zero mission. Experience working in the climate tech industry is a strong plus!
- Demonstrated success working with stakeholders to generate revenue and sales pipeline
- Ability to collect and analyse market and competitor data to influence and support their Partnership strategy
- You have experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- You bring self-motivation and the ability to be motivated by targets, goals, OKRs/KPIs in alignment with their organisational objectives and strategy
- You rely on excellent organizational and prioritization skills and you can manage your tasks and your projects individually
- You are a supportive team player, results-oriented, metrics-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- A positive, open-minded, and strategic thinker with a proactive approach and a self-driven work attitude
- You are excited to join their diverse and international team in Berlin or Munich. You are open to travel to their customers and their offices in Berlin and Munich on a regular basis
