Lead Solutions Engineer
As Carbmee’s Lead Solutions Engineer, you’ll spearhead customer engagement, delivering tailored solutions and post-sales support. Collaborating with the commercial and product teams, you’ll be the technical sales person on the team and stay abreast of climate tech trends. Your project management prowess will drive initiatives from conception to deployment, while your knack for clear communication will align teams seamlessly. Ideal candidates boast 5+ years in SaaS environments, API solutions expertise, and strong interpersonal skills. Bonus points for climate tech or sustainability experience, and knowledge of carbon accounting.
Responsibilities of Lead Solutions Engineer:
- Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure post-sales support.
- Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions, collaborating with engineering and product teams.
- Technical Expertise: Advise customers on best practices, staying updated with climate tech trends.
- Project Management: Lead projects from conception to deployment, maintaining detailed plans and documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Align sales, engineering, and product teams, presenting technical information clearly.
Requirements for a Lead Solutions Engineer:
- Experience: 5+ years in solutions engineering or similar roles, with a track record in SaaS environments.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge and experience with API solutions
- Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills, understanding customer needs, and building relationships.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, capable of delivering technical presentations.
- Problem-solving: Analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple projects independently.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience in climate tech or sustainability, familiarity with carbon accounting.
