Our client is looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative in Germany, to join their team. They are a cutting-edge startup that provides all-in-one sustainability software for the DACH region. Empowering businesses to enhance their Environmental, Social, and governance practices through Carbon Accounting. After a successful 2023, there has never been a more exciting time to join a Climate-Tech startup, with big plans to expand in the DACH region and worldwide in the coming months.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative in Germany to join the team. As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities. Your focus will be on selling the ESG SaaS platform to enterprise & mid-market clients in various industries. Your goal will be to translate technology into value-based outcomes for clients that help continue their investment in decarbonisation. At the same time, Enterprise Advocates are advocates for their customers, providing feedback to our product and engineering teams and helping us improve the broader customer experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment that rewards initiative and judgment with autonomy and responsibility. You should love the thrill of the hunt and have experience bridging technical benefits with business cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets. Identify key prospects, build strong relationships, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and nurture relationships with C-suite and senior-level stakeholders in target companies. Understand their ESG needs, present tailored solutions, and articulate the value proposition effectively.
  • Product Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our ESG SaaS platform’s features, functionalities, and how it aligns with clients’ sustainability goals. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the platform’s capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development, to ensure alignment in messaging, strategy, and customer needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast sales projections, and provide regular updates to management. Utilize CRM tools to track progress, document interactions, and manage sales activities efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years of B2B SaaS AE experience, in a complex, technical sales environment.
  • Consistent proven success in closing net-new business opportunities
  • ‘Hunter’ mentality – Ability to prospect & identify customers within the ICP and opportunities to sell.
  • Fluent in German & English.
